Terms and conditions 

Introduction 

Welcome to AGM Rock Guitar! 

I value fairness and respect and my business operates under these terms. 

 

 *Lessons* 

Please arrive 5 minutes before to allow time to set up the guitar. 

 

*Bring your own acoustic /electric guitar to lessons. Amps and effects are provided in the studio. 

 

*Aim to practice between 30 mins to an hour at least 2 - 3 days per week. 

I will give you the music tabs and recorded videos of songs or exercises to practice. 

 

 *Safety 

Play guitar with a straight back on supported chair or guitar stool. It’s important not to stretch your shoulder or hurt your back.

 

 *Lesson plan* 

I will have a plan already prepared for the lessons around your favourite artists, if you wish to request a song to be played in the next lesson please message me one week prior to your lesson so I can prepare the timing and chord progressions in the song is so it’s played correctly. 

 

*Learning from YouTube/tiktok 

I encourage anyone to learn from any source, it’s exciting, but please be aware that strumming patterns, chord progressions etc can vary depending on the source. 

 

*Who to bring to lessons 

Anyone under the age of 18 only bring a 

parent / guardian to lessons, bringing friends puts pressure on people to meet expectations. 

 

 *Cancellations* 

Preparation is a huge part of my job and it can take up to 3 hours for each student. Please give as much notice as possible so that I can rearrange other clients if necessary.

Lessons cancelled up to 48 hours prior will not be charged. 

Lessons cancelled up to 24 hours prior will have a £10.00 preparation charge as it keeps the business organised. 

Lessons cancelled under 24 hours prior will have £20.00 as I would have prepared the lesson and can’t replace lesson with anybody else. 

 

 *Holidays* 

Family is important to me. Everyone likes to take a break and get away for the holidays, please let me know any holidays booked for the upcoming month on the date of invoice. I will do the same regarding my own holiday plans by sending a reminder with the dates I am unable to attend.
